Announcing a 3-year studentship, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council available for DPhil studies at Oxford in Chinese Archaeology working on material from the British Museum.
The title of the project is: “Ceramic Traditions of Early Northern China: Painted Pottery in Context“, but there is some flexibility in developing this topic. A background in Chinese studies and/or archaeology is desirable but either is negotiable. Application deadline is noon on 21 April 2017.
Please be aware that the applicant has to be a resident of the UK or European Economic Area (EAA) due to AHRC regulations. Residency (not citizenship!) is the main criterion.
