The first Field School began in 2012 with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Singapore). It is a means to increase knowledge of the meaningful interactions connecting Asian countries.
Providing opportunities, building capacity, and enhancing practical skills are central. The intention is to also strengthen partnerships and networks during the process of experiential learning. Fieldwork, research and training are primarily conducted at Angkorian sites in Cambodia.
